Micro-Current Training

Micro-current treatment uses a pulsed electrical signal to stimulate nerves and muscle fibres. 

This helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and, with an organised programme of treatments, lift and maintain sagging features of the face and neck whilst improving skin tone and texture.

  • Electrical procedures and application
  • Skin treatment plan
  • Hygiene and safety precautions
  • Contra-indications to electrical procedure

This course is completed in 3 parts:


Part 1 - Online pre-learning

This session is designed to prepare you for training day

You work through the following workbooks: 

  • Anatomy of the Skin Workbook

  • Skin Consultations Workbook

  • Introduction to micro-current Theory workbook (18 units)

  • Live video demonstration

4 CE hours


Part 2 - Training Day 

All practical work is guided by your qualified educators

You will complete 10 units in this class

You will work on models, pre assessed for Micro Current treatments

4 CE hours


Part 3 - Assessment & Certification

Once training is completed, each therapist will be Assessed & Certified based on work done in training as well as a written theory test.

We have various ways of staying in touch with you post training:

  • Join our closed Facebook group where we post updates 

  • Join us for regular Q&A session and extended learning opportunities

  • Take part in a case study involving 3 clients treated in clinic

  • Join us for further up skill training in future at 15% discount

Pre-Requisites: 

  • Qualified beauty therapist 

  • Qualified Aesthetic Nurse or MD
